Miracles do happen--9 Week Ultrasound
It has been a few weeks now since the moment we found out about twins and it is finally starting to sink in. I will be birthing, nursing, strolling, changing diapers, and rocking TWO babies. I still occasionally slip and say something about my baby instead of babies, but I think I'm really starting to get the hang of it. It helped to see them again last week at the 9 week ultrasound. It was the most precious moment I've had so far with them. I got to see both of them kick their tiny legs and one of them even wiggled her (or maybe his) behind. My ultrasound tech actually cried and said that after 20 years it never gets old seeing moments like this. I had a tear or two fall as well. It's hard to fathom the miracles that are growing inside of me! My breath is taken away each time I hear their heartbeats, see the blood swish in and out of the umbilical cords, and see them move their tiny body parts. It's simply amazing and breath-taking. Thank you God for the life you have created inside of me!
